The web the way it should be... maybe
Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 12:07PM Came across this post from NY Times tech guru David Pogue. He describes this new feature of the the, named readability as "changing his life"
In short it takes away those horrible flashing ads and in your face animations that web page designers insist on having on the sites. The NZ Herald has started doing this in a very non user friendly way, by inserting 'flashy' ads right in the middle of the story.
It is very simple to use and will making reading web pages a much less distracting experience. It only takes two steps.
